Breakups: they're AWESOME inspiration for poetry. After all, who writes poems when they're in love? But how many ways can you say, "You broke my heart, and I'm so sad!" So how do you get out of a heartbreak writing rut? In this day-long online workshop in Google Hangouts, we'll read poems that explore heartache and lost love using surprising moves, like resurrection and revenge! During the session, you'll be asked to write, read, talk, share your work, and take risks. I'll email you instructions and reading materials the week before the class starts.
